But enjoyed the Christmas lights in our neighborhood!  We're so thankful for people that go to all the effort for other people's enjoyment!

We had a wonderful time thanks to all our wonderful Snyder-kin!  They always go out of their way to make our trip fun and special!  Lots of memories are always made!  For instance:  the inversion table was like a jungle gym for the Hood boys, "I'm the closest one to black in this family!", playing 31, getting to see Gramma's new carport...that towers over the old neighborhood, Mammaw sliding Eli down by himself...good thing there was sand, Kliff Kingsbury's "orientation", Eli pushing Gramma's walker and as always, Uncle Hippo's crazy stories!  (I had to include them since my memory is nonexistent these days!)

Halloween 2013

We took Eli trick-or-treating for the first time this year.  We made it around our block in the golf cart and really enjoyed seeing our neighbors.  Eli did great and carried his pumpkin up to the doors.  He only tried to go in to a few houses and everyone thought he was a cutie!  We had a bit of a parent-fail since he was supposed to be Johnny Manziel, but we couldn't find his jersey that evening!  (Since found it with the dirty towels!)  Luckily, his costume from last year still fit!  So, he was a jail bird again!

Some of our neighbors really go all out with the Halloween decor and that was really fun to see!

This one was just for crossfit that morning!  I couldn't help myself!

Friday Funday! 7 Acre Wood

Eli and Mommy went to 7 Acre Wood with our friends Lincoln and Kellie today.  They had a pumpkin patch, tractors, sandbox, petting zoo and so much more that we didn't even get to!  Eli had no fear of the animals and especially liked the goats and chickens!

This week we finally made it back to story time at the library and the local fire department was there!  Eli and Lincoln had a great time learning about "stop, drop and roll"  and a fireman's uniform!  Then we got to tour the firetruck!

Norris Halloween Party

Eli dressed up as Johnny Manziel this year for our friend's annual Halloween Party!  He was so cute with his bling and autographs for sale!
